Adult Services

Optimal health can feel like a complex issue - especially when faced with the heaviness of chronic pain. Often, it’s pain that eventually drives us to act on the path back to optimal health. What’s needed in cases of chronic discomfort exceeds momentary relief; what’s needed is genuine healing - relief that sustains over time.

For this, we must understand pain at its root. Amazingly, that root can often be found in the mouth, teeth, or tongue, of all places! This part of our body affects how we eat, sleep, move, speak, and breathe; assuring its health is a pivotal step toward relief that can truly sustain.

Because of this, all of my services emphasize healing this often-unnoticed foundation through optimal breathing, tongue health, and strong teeth: earning not only relief but holistic support of well-being.

OPTIMAL BREATHING

Optimal Breathing supports well-being across all sectors of human experience. It is the very beginning point of optimal overall health, and is determined in large part by the health of the tongue, teeth, and mouth.

ADULT TONGUE TIE

Adult Tongue Tie is a condition caused by a tight band of tissue binding the tongue to the floor of the mouth, severely limiting mobility and resulting in various symptoms of chronic pain. This condition can be relieved by Frenectomy, which produces a minor surgical cut to release the tongue from the floor of the mouth.

SPLINT / ORTHOTIC THERAPY

Splint Therapy is an important factor in the treatment of TMJ. The splint itself is a specially-fitted oral apparatus designed to cover some or all of the teeth to establish a healthier “bite.” Splint fitment tailors the mouth guard, bite plate, or other orthotic device to the contours of your teeth and mouth. Splint Therapy requires around 12 weeks to produce results.

FULL MOUTH RECONSTRUCTION

Full Mouth Reconstruction is a process for rebuilding or replacing all of the teeth in a patient’s mouth, merging esthetic practices with restorative dentistry to achieve a healthy, functional, and beautiful mouth. This is a time-consuming, but rewarding process that can take up to six months or more to complete.
